My name is Beau Cuizon, and I’m originally from the Garden Isle of Kauai. I graduated from Waimea High School, and I’ve been on Oahu in the television production business, as a camera operator, since 1997.
I was lucky to get my start in the profession as an intern at KHON 2, back when it was on Auahi Street. Then, I was fortunate enough to get my first real job as a news photographer at KGMB 9 in 1998, where I stayed, unti 2003.
Since then, I’ve continued to work in production, as a freelance camera operator.
Beau…Thanks very much for all your blog work, great idea and info that your providing. Was good catching up with you at favah event.

Hey Mike,
Good catch about the Auahi Street. I changed it out. Thanks, and good seeing you as well. Hope to hear more from you on the blog.

Beau,
It has happened… after months of speculation, KGMB/KHNL/KFVE announce their shared services plan. Net result: 68 employees/friends/co-workers/ohana will lose their jobs. Is this the beginning of a trend? Will this work? How will it succeed? I’m sure there are more questions than answers. What say you?
Aloha,
Paul G.
Paul,
Check out my “Morning After” post. Let me know what you think.
